We also offer the benefit that may exist for us to visit your business premises, your home (especially for personal or private matters such Estate Planning) and facilitating video-conferences through Skype.  We of course traditional meetings at our office with easy, adjacent street-parking. You can also conveniently arrange these through our online ‘Bookings’ system.

HOW YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY BENEFIT FROM CONTACTING BALFOUR MEAGHER

Unlike most older-style firms, we don’t charge for ‘travelling’ to clients in the metro area and for all our country and regional clients subject to a pre-agreed, only at-cost charge. In fact, unlike most of our contemporary colleagues, we don’t impose a unit-charge for sundries and office expenses like photocopying, printing, scanning, phone call charges etc.

Balfour Meagher understands the importance of certainty with your legal-services’ needs and financial budgets.

Therefore we are usually very happy to:

  • Initially discuss with you or your clients (via either: a no-charge 15-minute meeting, over the phone or by email) your particular matter’s requirements and specific aspects
  • Then provide you, up-front and for no initial charge, with a fixed fee estimate of charges with our:
    • Preliminary comments & recommendations; plus
    • a detailed proposed scope of works with bespoke solutions (in agreed phases and stages , which are easy to understand).

This is much better than simply a lawyer quoting you for a ‘standard‘ document* or just their hourly rate for advice that can, in a number of instances if not properly understood, simply ‘reward’ inefficiency and/or inexperience.

The other good thing is we’re extremely good listeners and communicators.

So unlike some of our contemporaries as lawyers and, in particular, some of the *modern, online electronic/automatic legal document ‘services’, we as very experienced advisors who know how to adapt each client’s unique business and personal particularities. We understand that, just like no 2 human beings are the same, you most probably actually need advice first as your discrete matters are likely to have unique aspects and requirements.
