Madeline is a corporate and commercial lawyer with experience advising both Australian and international clients across high-value, complex transactions as well as day-to-day commercial matters.
Madeline has worked across several national and boutique firms, in both Perth and Sydney, acting on matters ranging from large, high-profile M&A transactions through to bespoke advisory work for founders, SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Madeline advises businesses and individuals in Australia and overseas, including Australian businesses expanding offshore. Her work also regularly involves transactions with international counterparties.
She advises on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, managing matters end to end, from early structuring and due diligence through to negotiation, completion and post-transaction integration.
Alongside transactional work, Madeline provides practical, commercially focused advice on commercial contracting matters, particularly for SMEs and start-ups. Her work supports clients across day-to-day operations as well as growth and strategic change, and she is known for delivering clear, pragmatic advice that balances legal risk with commercial reality.
Madeline has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including technology, real estate, mining and resources, retail, hospitality and professional services.
Madeline places a strong emphasis on building trusted client relationships and is valued for her approachable and straightforward style, responsiveness and practical approach. She works closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver advice that is commercial, considered and aligned with their broader goals.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of South Australia and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law.
Outside of practice, Madeline enjoys baking, film and spending time outdoors.
